Cron is a time-based job scheduler in Linux OS. It allows an owner of a hosting account to schedule a task to be executed sometime in the future. Ususally site owners use Cron to schedule a job that is executed periodically - for example, to send out a notice every morning.
Customers of Host Color's Social Web Hosting, E-Commerce Hosting and Multi Domain Hosting Shared Plans and all Reseller Hosting plans are not allowed to run a Cron Job more often than every 10 minutes. The customer of Shared plans - Blog Hosting and CMS Hosting are not allowed to run a Cron Job more often than every 15 minutes. If you need this limit to be changed, please login to your Account Zone and create support ticket with subjct "Increase Cron Jobs limits". Please note that we might not be able to customize (increase) the limits for you!
